Black belt projects must be value at $100,000 or more and participants must devote 75% of their time to the projects during the four to six month time frame.
Master black belt
The master black belt program is for participants who have mastered both the black belt and green belt levels and have a high level of project management experience and proficiency with statistical tools. Master black belts mentor six green belts and six black belts and are often chosen to be leaders in their own organizations.
Champions
Six Sigma Champions are people who sponsor projects that align with the business goals of their organizations. Champions mentor and guide six people participating in the black belt or green belt programs, and they also help to implement the Six Sigma launch into their organizations.
